Team Hope Christmas Shoe box Appeal

Team Hope is an Irish project, no longer part of the Samaritan's Purse. Once again Christmas came early at St. Mary's B.N.S. as Christmas paper covering shoe boxes sparkled and added an early Christmas atmosphere to our school. The shoe boxes are sent to needy children in Eastern Europe, the former Soviet Union and Africa. Our School donated 200 shoe boxes to Team Hope this year.

Our boxes were laden with clothes, toys (new and second hand), toothbrushes and tooth paste, markers , pens , writing copies and other objects, Some children like include a photo of themselves with the gifts. The boxes are checked locally.They are then shipped by ferry and driven by truck to arrive at their various destinations in time for Christmas. Check out www.teamhope.ie for more details.
